Kaisercraft Saturday Sketches - 2011 January #3

The inspiration keeps coming. 

(being on holidays too, always helps!)

This is another Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch.

I decided to use a classic shot of our girls trip to Sydney last March.  Heading out for a big Saturday night on the town we decided to use the timer on my camera and as you can see from the shot it was a hilarious moment from an absolutely fantastic weekend! 

The stars represent my 6 star sisters, we all got a tattoo on this trip, some form of a star!

The Kaisercraft products used were  'Esther's Guestlist' PP (including the handmade flowers) and rinestones and brads.

Scrap Jacked January Challenge

Yay another page done!.

This is my first attempt and this so hope I've done it right!!!

I was inspired by Mel's layout this month at Scrap Jacked 

and this is my attempt.

This lovely lady is my husbands late Nan who unfortunately I was not to meet, from what I am told was a true character and would have loved my kids to bits!!!!!

I am trying to use Photos I have already had ready combined with supplies I already have, haven't needed anything new for 2 double layouts, not bad I think!

 (even though could always go shopping for more!  ha ha don't tell the Hubby!)

Also here is a little album that was a project for my son Jalen (7) while his sister was playing at a friends!  Quite a bit of input from Mum but we were all happy with end result!

Kaisercraft Saturday Sketches - 2011 January #1

Well this is my first attempt at using a blog to enter a challenge from my favourite craft brand! Kaisercraft !

Have looked at the Saturday sketches and always thought I should give it a go but I always stuggle to get the time to even do any pages let alone for a certain reason!
So here is my entry for January 2011, the plan will be to enter every month! Let me see if I can get this done as a goal for this year!
This Layout "The MCG" is done in Sakura Park papers, ( one of my all time favourite ranges mainly because it is the colours of StKilda football club, which holds a very big place in my heart for many reasons, which I won't go into just yet!) silk flowers, rinestones, fozz fonts and red braiding.  Although the images are mainly of my son and a sporty theme, I thought I would mix it up a little and use these range and use more traditionally girlie embellishments, It is a page for me after all!

Hope you enjoy viewing my work and wish me luck in my endevour to enter every month for 2011 and beyond! (fingers crossed)

I have set up this blog to try and get myself and my craft moving into the digital age! also so I can begin showing my work to a greater audience.  As I said trying to!  please bare with me as a novice there are bound to be some teething problems as I figure out what I am doing!!
